Can you make it out? It reads: "Erected as a 2-story town house in 1803 by the DaCosta family, this sturdy building has been greatly modified over the years. Major alterations occurred in the 1930s, when the residence was converted into Frederiksted's main hospital." Placed by St. Croix Historic Preservation Commission 2004 (Photos from this point on taken with Lumix camera, 03/01/2023.)

Christiansted, Strand Street Parking lot. It reads: "Baobab Tree. Located in the government parking lot, this Baobab tree is one of many such African spirit trees found on St. Croix. It was planted in the courtyard of a large 18th century town house, whose ruins can be seen along the road on the southern end of the parking lot." Placed by St. Croix Historic Preservation Committee 2007. The other green and white sign no longer exists. I looked, couldn't find it. Why didn't I see this plaque before?

What was once the "Nielson" house without the vines. Queen Street, close to Queen Cross.
Man who owns the house said the vine with the purple flowers were not allowing his orchids to get sun so he removed it. More of the house is now visible.
Next to fort. How did it get here? Must be in location for years since it appears to be "buried" in the rock.
