The 2025 National Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City marked the 68th anniversary of the event. It is considered America's largest cultural celebration, with an estimated one million attendees.
¡Viva Puerto Rico!

Another view of El Coqui

The guy with larger flags kept asking for items as the groups passed him by, and for the most part got what he asked for.

Hispanic Firefighters

Jumaane Williams, Public Advocate

Trying to get the spectators to cheer

The black and white Puerto Rican flag, often called the "Resistance flag," is a symbol of protest and resistance against US-imposed austerity measures and colonialism in Puerto Rico. It gained prominence after the passing of PROMESA, a law that put Puerto Rico's finances under federal oversight, and has since become a symbol of Grief, mourning, and colonialism.

The beautiful Puerto Rican flag

Have no idea who he is

Red sweater with black/white blouse, left side, Adrienne Adams, running for mayor

Lots of good music
