On June 21st, I left New York City for St. Croix via San Juan. The 8:50 p.m. flight left at 9:52 p.m. Strangely enough, even with the delay the flight arrived in San Juan at the exact time it had to arrive had it left at 8:50 p.m. I arrived on St. Croix at 8 a.m. on June 22nd.
This trip was to attend the 50th Anniversary Class Reunion of St. Joseph and Central High Schools.
I had a great time, though I stayed only for 2 days of the event. The reunion was scheduled to run from June 23rd to the 29th. Photos I took are being posted here.
I stayed at The Fred Hotel on Strand Street. The hotel is very nice and was still under construction during my stay. The swimming pool, restaurant, etc. are to open later this year.
Photos here may not be posted in date order.

The combination of the old building and the new form the center of operations for JetBlue Airways in JFK and is collectively known as Terminal 5 or T5. Original building dedicated in May 1962 and will now be a hotel.
Terminal 5 is located at the opposite end to the central axis of the master plan from the International Airport John F. Kennedy, in southeast Queens in New York City, USA, about 19 miles from Manhattan.
Above, a Trans World Airlines (TWA) plane. On a flight out of JFK, the AA pilot stopped the plane and told those on the left side of the plane to look out the window. He said TWA stood for "Travel With American".

As I took the photos of the beautiful sunset a young man began a conversation with me. He asked me if I was a professional photographer. I told him I was not. He said I sounded like someone he knew. Who? Paco. My brother. And then he started what would become a very interesting chat. I could have continued the chat for hours. Unfortunately, he had to run an errand. The young man turned out to be a relative, a cousin. Had he not talked to me, I would have never known who he was. How small the world is! I thanked the young man for starting the conversation! He left and drove off. Too bad I did not take a selfie with my cousin!!

You are asking yourself, "Why St. Joseph AND Central High?" The graduating classes were small and having get togethers for one school did not muster enough support, so it was decided that the graduates of both schools would unite in order to get more participation. I found that there were more students from Central High at the two events I participated in for the June 2019 Reunion. If I remember correctly, there was Janice, Wilfredo and myself at the two get togethers I attended. I have no idea if more individuals from St. Joseph attended other events after I left. By the way, a few of the individuals representing Central High were former students at St. Patrick and/or St. Joseph. I have no idea why they transferred to Central High.
