At first, the light snow did not stick on surfaces.
The temperature dropped and the snow got heavier.

At about 2:52 p.m., the snow stopped.
The snow on the string of lights on the terrace railing began to melt and/or fall off.

Social Security, 155-10 Jamaica Avenue (which is on right side of building), with Archer Avenue on the left and Parsons in the front. Also known as the Joseph P. Addabbo building. I worked in this building for a few years. SSA moved here from 96-05 Horace Harding Exp. (Photos not in order taken since the top portion of this photo would have been cut off if I had placed it on preceding page.)
The lobby of the SSA building all lit up as seen from the other side of Parsons Blvd. The building houses the Northeastern Program Center and Jamaica District Office. Snow is from the Sunday/Monday storm (February 22nd and 23rd).

Back parking lot. And after all the rain that fell, this pile of snow still remained. Soot can be seen on most of the pile.
