There was a heliport on the roof. On May 16, 1977 a helicopter crashed, killing 4 people, 3 on the heliport and a woman on Madison Avenue.

The above photographs were taken at the second annual Fabergé Big Egg Hunt at Rockefeller Center. Last year's event took place in London. Some of the designers, artists, architects and brands include Tracey Emin, Mark Quinn, Zaha Hadid, Ronnie Wood, Peter Beard, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marchesa, Olivier Theyskens and Bruce Weber.

Many eggs were displayed throughout the five boroughs the week before Easter. Participants try and find as many eggs as they can and collect their find in a basket but using an app. The person finding the most eggs has the chance to win "precious gemstone pendants", worth thousands of dollars each.
