1989 - Unpacking. We moved from 96-05 Horace Harding to Jamaica (corner of Parsons Blvd and Jamaica Avenue)

Year unknown: At one of the Christmas parties at the clinic in Elmhurst Hospital. Food was always good and plentiful. The affair was catered by the doctors. In photo above, left to right, are: Jorge, Mario and Tommy. Tommy not totally visible. Too bad. Both Tommy and Mario are no longer with us. RIP. I miss both!!

What a week it was! I think it started June 6th. Smoke from the wildfires in Canada began to affect New York City. The above photo taken the morning of June 7th.
It got dark the afternoon of June 7th. The area smelled of smoke and fire. It was recommended we wear masks. After a few hours outside, wearing a mask, my eyes began to itch badly!!
